A friend picked up on something that is interesting. In TDK, the accountant who figures out that Wayne is Batman is named Mr. Reese. They call him that a few times in the film; Mr. Reese. Say it fast and it sounds close to Mysteries. Could he become the Riddler?? Or perhaps an original character not based on past Batman foes? In Batman Begins, Nolan certainly exercised his artistic license with Rah’s Al Gul, who was very different that the Rah’s from the graphic novels.
