Inception babe Marion Cotillard is rumoured to have a role in the Christopher Nolan directed The Dark Knight Rises alongside returning caped crusader Christian Bale and new comer to the franchise Anne Hathaway.

French newspaper Le Fiagro wrote in their article “Marion Cotillard will join the production this summer in Los Angeles, where she will share the bill with Anne Hathaway.”

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise as we previously reported that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was up for a role and rumour has it that he is close to signing a deal, and since she’s an Inception alumni it couldn’t be too far fetched an idea.

So who would she play? Sources claim that she is up for the role of Talia al Ghul, daughter of Batman Begins’ Ra’s al Ghul and a love interest to Bruce Wayne.

We’ll keep you posted on further developments, The Dark Knight Rises goes in front of the cameras soon and is slated for a release next June.
